We are so thankful for meeting so many amazing couples in 2010 (who we can call friends now). Besides shooting weddings in the New York area, we have had the privilege to travel to St. Louis, Nashville, San Luis Obispo, Taiwan, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Seattle, Bahamas, Chicago, Dominican Republic, Boston, Boulder, Philadelphia, San Francisco, San Diego, and San Jose all within one year! Thank you all for believing and supporting us in our work. We truly believe that with everything else invested into a wedding day, the wedding photos are one of the few things that will last a lifetime.

As Angela and I are getting married ourselves in late 2011, we can't wait for what 2011 has in store for us!

Here are a few of our favorite wedding portraits that we took in 2010:

It was the first chilly day of winter, yet Eunice and James were brave enough to brace the nippy winds, put on a happy face, and step outside in nothing more than their wedding attire. We lasted all but 15 minutes outside. And let me tell you, only newly weds could look that happy in such freezing temperatures! As we all warmed up inside, the Venetian welcomed us with their festive holiday set up, a giant Christmas tree, and hot drinks for everyone at the front door. It made Eunice and James' winter wedding all the more merry and bright! And when we saw the the Korean mothers boogie in their hanboks and the walls open up (literally) to a giant Viennese buffet, we knew that this would be a very cheerful holiday for everyone indeed (smile).

Ji-May and Eric wanted to make their wedding as personal as it could get, so they put together what they called a "foodcentric" wedding at the gorgeous, historical Elkins Estate in Philadelphia--the evening started with a special selection of amuse bouche, tray-passed in the beautiful Grand Foyer, then guests were escorted into the dreamy reception hall for a fantastic six-course dinner of their personal favorites, and greeted with a surprise froyo treat from Fruity Yogurt for dessert! And if that wasn't enough food for a day, they even hosted a hilarious "Food Challenge" game where guests raced each other at eating huge slices of cake! To top it all off, everybody was sent home with Cheesesteaks as wedding favors and a great taste of Philly. With this much food involved, it was no wonder the bride was eager to do a couple sets of push ups in the morning...even while wearing her gown and veil (smile).
