We're trying something new when it comes to weddings as fabulous as Crystal and Ivan's One Atlantic Wedding in Atlantic City. This amazing bride put together all these delicious details within a month's time--it surely deserves a little spotlight on our blog!
Anybody would have been wowed walking into a reception of this magnitude. The hanging glass bulbs sprinkled the ceilings with what seemed like a star-lit sky, and what better backdrop to celebrate with your new husband than the mighty Atlantic itself! The One Atlantic is definitely the place for any bride looking for a modern, dramatic gesture. Everything from the train of her dress, both pairs of Jimmy Choo's, and her dream centerpieces by Gerald's Florist were picture perfect for this celebration of a lifetime. We have fallen in love with this beautiful venue, as I'm sure you will, too (smile).
Atlantic City is a place where most people wish for a miracle. But Crystal and Ivan didn't need one. They made it happen. In just one month. Shocking, I know.
Planning a wedding is no small feat, yet this bride and groom soared through the process and pulled off an extraordinary celebration for their loved ones. To top it all off, her gowns, all three of them, were absolutely stunning. It was a beautiful, chilly February day in Atlantic City, and the sun was beaming through the glass walls surrounding the trendy One Atlantic, built right on the pier so you can enjoy the endless seascape from every side of the building. When it comes to reuniting with your favorite people in the world, there couldn't have been a more spectacular place. As the music began, we were all left speechless as Crystal walked down the aisle with a magnificent train fanning out behind her. And even though it wasn't Ivan's first time seeing his bride, how can your heart not stop just a little? It was the perfect beginning to a happily ever after, and a wonderful way for us to kick off the year!

Wedding number thirty. It was the end of our longest season (ever) shooting weddings from January through December. Fortunately enough, we were invited to San Jose to celebrate our final shoot of the year, and we always LOVE California--for too many reasons to mention. After eating our way through Silicon Valley, we're finally back on the east coast and preparing for photo hibernation (i.e. recharging). Looking back on 2010, we know we were blessed with a busy year in preparation for bigger things to come in the new year!
Ngoc and Tuan's wedding was a long-awaited celebration for both their families. In fact, it was such a big deal that Vietnamese celebrities and musicians were invited from Houston to make their party an even bigger hit! Ngoc, looking absolutely gorgeous, walked down the aisle at the Five Wounds Church in Santa Clara, leaving everybody speechless. Tuan might even have cracked a smile! After the formalities, a fun portrait session near the Silver Creek Golf Course was a nice escape from the long (long) day of festivities. But despite sore cheeks and too many cameras to smile for, they looked so happy and totally in love. We wish you all the best as you begin a new life together in Houston! Go enjoy some of those amazing beef ribs (smile).
