What is required to book my date?
To book your event date, we ask for a retainer fee and a signed contract. The remaining balance due 30 days before the wedding. Booking dates are limited for each week, so please contact us to check our current availability for your date.

How many weddings do you shoot a year?
To maintain the quality of the images and products that we provide to all our clients, we limit to only 25 weddings per year.

How many pictures are usually provided?
When we photograph a wedding, we do not limit ourselves to the amount of images taken. We take as many images necessary to capture the story of your wedding. Most weddings have a minimum of 600-800 digital negatives that are delivered. The amount of images are dependent on coverage and location.

What do your albums look like?
Here are some examples of the albums we have designed in the past. All albums we provide are one of a kind and custom hand-made in a magazine style (flush-mount). We also have an in-house graphic design artist who custom makes all album layouts. All our custom wedding albums are life-time guarantee.

Do I receive the digital negatives after the wedding?
The digital negatives and a limited image release is included in all of our wedding packages.   

Are your photos retouched?
We carefully retouch every finished album image or custom print before it is professionally produced. Our Digital Negatives FAQ provides an in-depth explanation on how we retouch our photos.  

What is your turnaround time after the wedding?
1-2 weeks: A blog post highlighting our favorite images
4 weeks: Online wedding album slideshow
6 weeks: All online proofs posted on our online proofing gallery 
8-10 weeks: Final approval of the album layout
14-18 weeks: Album delivered with digital negatives

Do you have second photographers available?
Yes, Wayne Yuan Photography consists of two photographers, Wayne and Angela, who shoot exclusively all weddings together. We believe in having two photographers to cover the wedding day because it provides two perspectives of what is going on (ie. bride getting ready and groom getting ready).

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we are available nationwide. Travel fees are complimentary to the 48 states in our packages. 

What kind of equipment do you use?
We shoot with only professional Canon digital equipment. We always carry backup equipment and lenses to be ready for any situation.

Do you have photography insurance?
Yes. We can provide a proof of insurance certificate if your venue requires it.
