As we drove from the mile-high city through the valleys of beautiful Colorado, surrounded by what we could only describe as magnificence, we couldn't help but keep asking each other, "Should we move here?" What looked like 1000-piece puzzles or some computer-generated graphic of a mountain landscape was right before our eyes--and it was FOR REAL. So don't let your eyes fool you...we did not use any fake backdrops for this bride and groom. It was true, genuine, enveloping beauty. Sarah and Sunny (otherwise known as "Two Monkeys in Love") had an intimate celebration at Pastures of Plenty, a quaint farm with an unbelievable backdrop. There were wildflowers blooming like we had never seen before, and a feast for the eyes everywhere we looked. Wayne could not stop using the word "epic". Even in the grandeur of it all, the wedding still kept its pleasant country charm, including their adorable flower girl ensemble (love their flower halos and patent red shoes!). Everything came together to make this simple farm wedding a delightful celebration to witness. Plus, we never say no to barbecue.

Amanda and Andrew (also known as "Mandrew") celebrated their love of soccer with the perfect figurines for their wedding cake, and the Maid of Honor even waved a Spanish bull flag to proclaim their World Cup victory and prompt a few laughs during her touching speech. It was a beautiful day for the newly weds that we can finally call Mister and Misses Macho! Congratulations, you two!

As we watched the two of them giggling away at their own set of inside jokes, college-day memories, and the charms of little interactions, we knew they were totally and undoubtedly in love. With a wedding just weeks away, we wouldn't have expected less! The sun was just WORKING for us that day, and they looked awesome. In fact, they rocked like scroll buttons (if you're a Strong Bad fan, you know what we're talking about!).

Except this time, to our surprise, there were TWO Jon's! We were worried that we'd be following the wrong twin all day, and even with their different ties, we were constantly doing double-takes. Amy had one of those dresses that just made your jaw drop, and nine (holy cow!) lovely bridesmaids to accompany her down the aisle. Their ceremony was held at the Church of the Immacculate Conception, where Amy got a bit emotional right before her walk down the aisle! After the "I do"s, the techno-light party bus brought us all to Lambert Castle for some portrait time with the newly weds--they looked so stunning it blew our minds. And the Westmount Country Club was a hidden gem in New Jersey, newly renovated and made their party look extra glamorous. The kids were running around like they were fed one too many jolly ranchers, and the rest of the dance floor rocked like there was no tomorrow. Amy, I love your new married name (smile)! And Jon, you've got one gorgeous bride. You two make us smile--congratulations again!

Amy looked so amazing on the staircase that we looked over and found Ian staring speechlessly at his new wife! Their Ritz-Carlton reception was no less fabulous, especially after the entire bridal party presented a choreographed dance to surprise everybody (and us) on the dance floor! It was one of those days where the weather outside was only a faded backdrop to the sunny celebrations we were witnessing with our bride and groom.

Aside from being in one of our favorites cities in the world, we were excited just to partake in this special day with Joyce and Jun. Joyce was glowing and gorgeous; and Jun could not wait for their first kiss (ever). How honored we were to capture that historic moment in our cameras (smile)! They made it official with elegance at the beautiful Trinity United Methodist Church, and partied it out at the classy Westin Hotel in Itasca, Illinois. Being an avid Guns N' Roses fan, Jun broke loose at the reception...and the dance floor went wild with air guitars, hand signs, and the party of a lifetime. What a way to end our crazy weekend!

We've never seen Rey smile so much before! After the reception, we made a mad dash to the airport to catch a flight to Chicago for our second wedding of the weekend. Wedding season = insanity and a lot of mileage!

Oahu is at the top of our favorite places in the world. Of course, we weren't there (just) for vacation, but when you're in a place like that, it's hard not to feel like it! Jiwon and Eddie tied the knot on this dreamy island and celebrated their love with their closest friends and family at the gorgeous Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki. It was a joyful, emotional, and, in Eddie's words, "glorious" day--we couldn't be happier for the two of them! They have been rocking the photos since their engagement session in Urbana-Champaign, and this time, it was epic. So folks, prepare to be amazed.

Everybody (including ourselves) had a good laugh during those momentary interruptions of the ceremony. Their country-charm wedding was more than appropriate for a couple who lived in a barn-shaped house (with their adorable pet ferret)! Kate and Steve had been waiting for this day for what feels like forever, and as they gathered to celebrate with their closest family and friends, it was an emotional day for everyone. Top it all off with some beef brisket, sweet potato fries, and parents getting funky on the dance floor, there were more than happy cows at the end of the day. Congratulations Mister and Misses--we're so honored to have shared these moments with you!
