I looooove Chelsea Market! Apparently so do Kym and Chris--so it became the perfect place to hit off our engagement session with the two of them. As we explored random nooks and corners of the extraordinary little building, we realized that it wasn't easy shooting in the crowded, dim space. Not so much because of the masses of people or the lack of natural lighting...but because we were surrounded by awesome food everywhere we walked and were starving by the end of the first two poses! We knew we had to get out of there--fast.
We arrived at Pier 45 just in time for the sun to peak through the clouds and give us an amazing sunset. Their faces were glowing despite the fact that it felt like winter all over again in the frigid wind. We were frozen solid and, frankly, quite concerned about little Kym in her strapless dress. "It's okay," Chris would say, "she's from Canada." Hahaha. They are having two weddings in Taiwan and New Jersey--and we know both of them will be quite the party...as long as Kym gets her shot of vodka in advance (smile).

A walk through Columbia University was a walk down memory lane for Linda and Winston. Although the campus had changed a bit since their college years, so had their plans for the future--a wedding date next month shakes things up quite a bit! The days were finally getting warmer and there were students everywhere eager to be outdoors; and in the liveliness of it all, we saw Linda and Winston's playfulness come to life. Despite being followed around by a random lady tourist (who wanted us to take her picture everywhere we went) and almost getting run over by a crazy biker at Riverside Park, I'd say they looked pretty happy to be reliving their college days right back where it began. At least we know Linda couldn't ever stop laughing (smile).
We have so much in store for 2010. We cannot wait to share with you our new images when wedding season kicks in. Here's a recap of our favorite engagement session images from 2009.
