Like most people who enjoy sunshine, gloomy days don't exactly make us excited to get out of bed and hop on a bus to New York City. But on this particular day, we met Agnes and Michael, and it turned out to be one of the best gloomy days we've ever had. Agnes was one of those girls who could brighten up anybody's day just by giving a good laugh. And this is no girlish giggle we are talking about--it's a good, genuine, light-up-your-face laugh. And it was contagious. Though we didn't have our usual sunshine to brighten up the streets of West Village, it didn't matter a bit. They were laughing at everything (in a wonderful way), and we caught on pretty quickly. As much as Mike would like to deny that there is any cuteness in him (only manliness), we think the two of them are so ridiculously cute together. And there is no other word to describe it. Can't wait for more fun to come on 10.10.10!
On this warm, summer afternoon in Manhattan, Central Park became a walk down memory lane with impressions from Homestar Runner--it was Don-Don's sure-fire way to get his delightful fiancée Karen to burst out laughing (works like a charm!). As we watched the two of them giggling away at their own set of inside jokes, college-day memories, and the charms of little interactions, we knew they were totally and undoubtedly in love. With a wedding just weeks away, we wouldn't have expected less! The sun was just WORKING for us that day, and they looked awesome. In fact, they rocked like scroll buttons (if you're a Strong Bad fan, you know what we're talking about!).

We love discovering sweet little details in Brooklyn. There is so much texture, energy, and pleasant surprises around every corner! It was Amanda and Andrew's first time there, and they were already in love with Brooklyn--especially after we showed them the best pizza in New York (smile). It had been over a hundred degrees all week long, yet despite the heat and stickiness, those love birds didn't mind being stuck together for an entire photo shoot. I'm sure getting married in two weeks had something to do with that! You guys were fabulous; we can't wait to make some awesome images with you again at your wedding in a few days!
