We LOVE Hawaii! Macadamia nut pancakes, sea turtles, amazing coffee, beautiful beaches, extraordinary weather, and one of the best places to go on vacation. Oahu is at the top of our favorite places in the world. Of course, we weren't there (just) for vacation, but when you're in a place like that, it's hard not to feel like it! Jiwon and Eddie tied the knot on this dreamy island and celebrated their love with their closest friends and family at the gorgeous Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki. It was a joyful, emotional, and, in Eddie's words, "glorious" day--we couldn't be happier for the two of them! They have been rocking the photos since their engagement session in Urbana-Champaign, and this time, it was epic. So folks, prepare to be amazed.
Mooooo. That was the background music for Kate and Steve's outdoor wedding at the Queens County Farm Museum. Everybody (including ourselves) had a good laugh during those momentary interruptions of the ceremony. Their country-charm wedding was more than appropriate for a couple who lived in a barn-shaped house (with their adorable pet ferret)! Kate and Steve had been waiting for this day for what feels like forever, and as they gathered to celebrate with their closest family and friends, it was an emotional day for everyone. Top it all off with some beef brisket, sweet potato fries, and parents getting funky on the dance floor, there were more than happy cows at the end of the day. Congratulations Mister and Misses--we're so honored to have shared these moments with you!
It was the first day New York has felt like summer--bright, beautiful, and burning hot. I mean, there were kids running around Battery Park in swimsuits. Seriously, burning hot. But our troopers Lindsay and Jason pressed on through the heat and posed like they were too cool for school--law school that is. The two met during their studious years as law students, when a casual study break turned into a vow to become lifelong (study) partners! As they continue to motivate and inspire one another, we know they're both bound for something beyond awesome--but for now, they've transformed a simple memorial by the World Financial Center into a little prairie haven just for the two of them. And it was beyond awesome.
