We are always so honored when fellow vendors in the wedding industry ask us to photograph their weddings. So when Sook, one of our favorite wedding coordinators, approached us shortly after her engagement, we were thrilled! Sook and Michael are both very happy, very fun, and very popular people, as we soon learned after meeting their huge wedding party! From the start of the day, there was so much energy in the room as they prettied themselves up for the big moment. Being the basketball fanatic that Michael is, we decided to have their First Look at the basketball courts in the hotel. After the initial nerves and butterflies, it was all smiles and laughs for the rest of the day, despite the gloomy weather! For the first time ever, we actually got rained out during our portrait shoot at the end of the day, but the happy couple were so chill about the whole situation, that they agreed to postpone their wedding portrait shoot to another day. (They are awesome!) So we had the opportunity to do a bridal shoot at Grand Central Station in New York City a couple weeks later, wedding dress, suit and everything! And let's just say, Michael was much happier not having to smile for so many family portraits (smile). Sook and Mike, we're so glad to have been part of your special day! We shall see you at future weddings to come!
