There are some wedding traditions that are sweet, nostalgic, and leave everyone breathless, like wearing your mother's veil down the aisle (especially when it's a beautiful, lacy, cathedral-length treat to the eyes). There are also traditions that are loud, funny, and make the crowd scream at the top of their lungs as the bride and groom chug down an entire bottle of Smirnoff Ice. On their knees. Needless to say, Marcella and Nick's wedding at the brand new (and fabulous) Maritime Parc was a real treat. Even with the downpour earlier in the day, this bride and groom still rocked their socks off. Shoes included. Their modern, royally purple, and emotional day left the newly weds smiling from ear to ear, and their guests partied on past midnight, jumping over beer bottles and all.
