Erin and Andrew met in the least likely of places--the state capitol of New York in Albany. But when true love meets, even in such an unexpected location, one thing leads to another rather quickly--and before they knew it, they were taking their engagement photos right back at the place where it all began. We made the long drive to Albany just to witness this city that brought them together, and, of course, a little change of scenery always makes things more exciting! We explored and took pictures around the Capitol Building, all the while receiving a free tour by Erin herself! The architecture itself was enough to make us ooh and ahh as we walked through the arched stairways and grand chambers, not to mention learning about the famous people that have come through its very doors! It was a beautiful experience and we're so thankful that we had the opportunity to create some striking images at a place that held so much history within its walls.

Memorial day weekend is definitely the most popular day of the year to get hitched. With that many brides competing for the same date, you know the one who won was going to make it as fabulous as it could be. And so Yena started with a fabulous dress, which was of course, nothing less than a girly, flowy, chiffon masterpiece by Vera Wang. And she looked stunning.

The bride and groom started their day together in the same salon, and even shared a conversation or two, but still managed to avoid seeing each other until they were both dolled up and ready to go. They looked perfect. Yena and Steven shared some intimate words and funny moments during their ceremony, standing under a dreamy archway made completely of orchids. They then spiced up the reception by a surprise dance number involving the entire bridal party that the bride's brother had choreographed just for the occasion! We had no idea these two could put the moves on like that! And just like any fairytale ending, we stole the newly weds away for some private moments before they returned to their chandelier ballroom to party the night away, and created some beautiful portraits to help them remember the start of their happily ever after. Congratulations, Yena and Steven!
