This might have been the first time we saw a groom get more emotional than the bride on their wedding day. Kristine and Jason tied the knot at the marvelous The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers one sunny, beautiful afternoon in West Manhattan. It had been a long journey for both of them before walking down the aisle, surrounded by their dearest and closest family and friends, and as Jason's eyes began to water, we knew this was a day he'd been waiting a lifetime for. The open ceilings and bright windows of the Lighthouse created a unique and urban-chic atmosphere for their joyous celebration, and with enough photographers (and a photo booth) in the room, there were more than enough moments to remember from their special day. Congratulations to you both! It has been an absolute pleasure (smile).

Take a look at their Brooklyn Bridge session engagement photos.

10.10.10. It was finally here--the wedding date of the century. Agnes and Mike had planned their triple ten wedding at Glen Cove Mansion long before our calendars even hit the new decade. And when somebody prepares for a celebration for that long, you know they are planning the party of their lifetime. For a couple that laughs together at everything life throws at them, this day was made even cheerier as friends and family traveled from as far as Brazil and Korea to celebrate this memorable day with them. Even their parents (all four of them) were gettin' jiggy on the dance floor. Seriously, coolest moms and dads ever. And when an epic date like this turns out to be a beautiful, sunny, breezy day, us camera people go home happy (smile).

Around Halloween season, even the nicest neighborhoods start looking really creepy.  During our engagement session with Eunice and James in Edgewater, New Jersey, the streets were lined with spooked houses where skeletons and zombies were crawling out of their front lawns. It sure made for an interesting photo session! Luckily, on the other side of the street, there was an awe-inspiring skyline glowing in the sunset and plenty of fall-colored trees to make for some romantic photos. The entire session was taken within a 100 meter span of a riverside park...where the zombies could see us the whole time (smile). Happy Halloween everybody!
