"Dedo" might be an unusual nickname for most, but he has lived most of his life known only by this name--even by his wife-to-be. In fact, we're not sure we even know what his real name is. Holly and Dedo are planning a beautiful wedding in wonderful Taipei, Taiwan. But getting married in Taiwan is more like having a fashion show for your friends and family--the bride is expected to change into several gowns throughout the night and strut her stuff for all the guests to see. How fabulous is that! While Holly prepares for her runway debut this winter, Dedo decided to have us help them with their posing techniques before the big event (smile). We spent a beautiful evening wandering around Battery Park City, which had, for the time being, become a temporary playground for all the kids and dogs in the neighborhood because of the nice weather. We hope you guys had fun!

We love love love Style Me Pretty! And when we send them a wedding with fabulous details, they return our enthusiasm by doing back flips in their office (smile). We are thrilled and honored to be featured on the front cover of Style Me Pretty for Linda + Winston's New York wedding photos at The Foundry. Sweetness!

It has always been important to us to capture the full story of the wedding day through our images. One way we do that is by having two photographers--two perspectives, two comparisons, two stories coming together as one. Tim and Fiona's wedding post is a good example of how we typically shoot every wedding--Wayne follows the groom, Angela follows the bride, and all the little details and expressions build up to the final moments of their single hood. Our two stories merge as the couple comes together for the first time on their wedding day, by which time we've both become so emotionally involved in the process that we can't help but to tear up a little ourselves! In this case, the entire bridal party was tearing up as Fiona walked down the aisle (smile).
There are different kinds of "cute"--one kind makes Angela's voice two octaves higher (when she sees fluffy, little things), and another is how we used to describe our celebrity crushes in high school (Wayne's was Katie Holmes). Tim and Fiona, however, have redefined cute. Seeing them so happy on their wedding day made everybody (including all the groomsmen) want to pinch their cheeks (which is precisely what they did). You just can't help but smile. They were even cute enough to dance their way back down the aisle, smiling from ear to ear. I would have pinched their cheeks, too, if it wasn't so inappropriate for photographers to do so!
