We've always heard about the amazing view of New York from the Hyatt in Jersey City, but seeing it in person was just incredible! Even Rosemari herself couldn't believe she was getting married there as she gazed out her bridal suite window--a clear, beautiful skyline of Manhattan. It was a big day for Rosemari and James, so you can imagine getting ready for the wedding was no easy task! Yet through all the this-and-that's and here-and-there's of the busy morning, all the anxieties turned to glee when Rosemari saw (spied on) her soon-to-be-husband through her window. And all of a sudden, she forgot about everything else, and happily exclaimed, "I can't wait to marry my husband!" (tear). We're so glad they did. And to celebrate, they showed off their fresh new ballroom dance moves to impress the crowd! You guys did awesome!
Jess and Russell have actually mysteriously crossed paths with us in the past--it wasn't until we met that we all realized we had been at the same party several times before! What a small world. When they showed up for our engagement session at Battery Park, Russ told us a little secret--he had gone through our entire blog the night before and researched all our poses in advance! If all our couples did that, Angela would be out of a job (smile). We trekked through the cold while trying to dodge the nosy park rangers who always started getting suspicious whenever we pulled out our off-camera flash. (Does a flash and battery pack look intimidating?!) After the third time they approached us, we started to pull it out as discretely as possible (while subtly glancing left and right)--definitely ninja territory. Way to spice up a photoshoot!
We knew from their prospect park engagement session photos that Erika and Elton's wedding would be just as fun(ny). Yes, Elton's infamous monster noises played a big role once again. But when the best man handed him two glow sticks during his speech, it unleashed his true disco-fever nature. Of course, and his instinct to impress Erika. They all danced/raved the night away at the classy Gustavino's in New York City to a live band, funky shades, and endless laughter. Erika and Elton finally took their relationship to the next level. And we're so glad they did.
