James had been trying to win Rosemari's heart before she even knew. Years into their friendship, he proposed to her with a gum wrapper ring and told her she's "the one". She finally agreed--then of course, he proposed with the real (nice) ring a few months later! The so-in-love couple met us at Chelsea Market with their precious Maltese, JD, and Rosemari's own personal assistant (aka, the little brother who needed some summer allowance)! We had a great time wandering and discovering fabulous little streets around the Meatpacking District, and ended the evening with some good old Shake Shack. Mmm. Delish.

They deserve a big LOL. Where do I even begin with Wendy and Danny? I've never heard any couple complain (jokingly) during an engagement session, "Do I have to hold her hand?" HIL-AR-I-OUS. And talk about being creative (or just refusing to give us a straight smile)--every single frame captured Danny making a different facial expression. I bet he could make a book titled "1001 Facial Expressions" and then come out with an extended edition 2 weeks later. The only thing that made him smile...was gazing at a McDonald's billboard. LOL. These two are going to spend the rest of their lives laughing...with each other.
For four non-morning people, doing a sunrise shoot was more than delirious. But deliriously delightful. Sheesh and Rob joined us at Point Pleasant Beach with big smiles on their faces....they brought Hello Kitty balloons for their shoot! Despite the fact that none of us had had any coffee yet, standing on the beach at sunrise was actually quite spectacular. The sky looked incredible...which made waking up at 4am a whole lot more worth it.
