Venus and Tony finally made it official after being in love for five long years! They had an all-out traditional Chinese wedding where the groom came to pick up his bride at her house. However, it wasn't so easy. By tradition, the bridesmaids had to do everything they could to keep the guys from entering. This meant making them do push ups, eat dry crackers, chow down whole cucumbers, and dance the macarena (while Venus peeked through her bedroom window)! Their huge (HUGE) family came from all over the world to join them at the Vanderbilt in Staten Island where Venus and Tony said their vows. With a Shrek-themed wedding cake and enough drinks to go around (several times), they all ate, drank, and partied the night away. Congratulations you two!

The best man called this Italian-Chinese wedding "a marriage between the two best people groups in history". I guess that's referring to all the Michelangelo's and Confucius's that come from these two countries! Matt and Lily tied the knot at the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ. A full church choir welcomed them as Lily made her way down the very (very) long aisle looking absolutely radiant! This was the first time either of us have been to a Catholic wedding (or mass, for that matter), so it was a very eye-opening event for us to capture. Needless to say, the whole ceremony was beautiful! As solemn and grandiose the ceremony was, the reception was a complete change of rhythm. With a full brass band and DJ, they danced the night away. Lily knows how to get down!

When is the deadline?
All submissions must be received by June 7, 2009 at midnight EST to be considered.

How do I win?
After the submissions are closed, we will select the top three most interesting stories and photos to post on our blog. Stories will be open to voting for seven days, and the winner will be determined by the most number of comments--so get creative with your submissions!

What are the details?
The date for the engagement shoot must be on an available day in 2009 (check our calendar). We are busy people, so please be flexible! We would love to shoot anywhere in the world, so couples outside of the New York City, New Jersey area are welcome to enter, as along as they are willing to provide travel and lodging for two people.
