Two a cappella groups. Two colleges. Two different states. But one encounter sparked a flame that would bring them together a couple years later. On July 7, 2007 (seven seven seven), he put a ring on her finger, and they decided to stay together forever. For Karen and Clark, the skies cleared for one day in the middle of our rainy season just so we could have the perfect engagement session. They invited us out to the beautiful Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx (who would have thought!) and took a stroll at the nearby Orchard Beach. We made them tread through the weeds, climb over rocks, and Clark had to carry Karen through the mud...but the pictures we got were well worth it. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous weather with us, guys!

Hello faithful blog readers!

Welcome to a brand-spankin' new site.  We have spent the last 5 months working with ITDR working on a redesign for this site, and we are proud to officially announce it to the world! We have a few announcements to make:

NEW SITE - We have combined our website and blog to create a blogsite to help everyone keep updated on what's happening as we travel to our many events this year. All of our 2009 wedding & portraits will be updated frequently to show you our latest work. Make sure to subscribe to us by RSS or bookmark our site on the new link.

NEW HIRE - We are now a photography + design team. We have a new designer/ associate photographer, Angela, who will be working with us full-time. She's had many years of graphic design experience from working in design firms, which will help us create some of the amazing products that we provide. Caroline and Dan met freshman year in college when they both attended The University of Illinois, but the chemistry didn't happen until their 5th year on campus. Both of them were working near campus and serving at the same church. After venturing to Africa together on a summer missions trip, both their prayers were answered--they had found their match. Currently, Caroline is working in Illinois and Dan is continuing school at Gordon-Conwell in Boston where they will continue their love story together after their wedding. We traveled to the area for their engagement session a few weeks ago and found some great spots at Boston Commons and the harbor. It was cold and rainy, but we had a great time! Can't wait to shoot their wedding in Chicago this August!
