Jen and Joe. Joe and Jen. No matter how you say it, the two just belong together. This fun pair came out on Joe's birthday (Happy Birthday, Joe!) to do an engagement session with us in New York City. We captured some great sunlight around the quaint neighborhoods of the West Village, and wandered over to Tribeca to catch the beautiful sunset. In the middle of our session, Jen bought us some delightful cookies from a little bakery called "Milk and Cookies" in the West Village. Then the sugar rush started to kick in. In terms of what happened, you'll just have to see for yourself. We had a great time! Can't wait to shoot their wedding in August. Maybe eating wedding cake will become sugar rush #2.
Here's a little sneak peak from the other side of the camera! In future entries, we'll be showing more images of our team in action while we're running around and making things happen. This is how we roll.

Diana and Sam flew all the way from Houston to shoot an engagement session with us in New York! Perhaps the weather knew that these fellow Texans were coming to town, because we were blessed with 70-degree weather for the whole weekend (sweet!). We spent two days wandering around Manhattan and enjoying the cherry blossoms in Newark, NJ. Despite our efforts to make Sam smile, Diana finally figured out how to make him laugh instead. Those two are hilarious when they get crazy with each other! We got some awesome pictures at South Street Seaport in New York and the Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park. The weather was gorgeous, the lighting was "juicy", and we had so much fun running around the city afterward that we stayed out until 1am on both nights. Thanks for spending your weekend with us, guys! We can't wait to photograph your wedding in Houston this October!

Katy and Derek got hitched during Easter Weekend! Their wedding was held at the beautiful Crest Hollow Country Club in Long Island. Even though the rain kept us inside all day, we were able to capture some crazy moments from their wedding. Blindfolds, latin dancers, cherry underwear, fuzzy hats and maracas are just a few words that describe their day of celebration. Katy and Derek even choreographed an entire dance routine to surprise the crowd during their first dance! Who cares if it rained all day...these people know how to have a good time!
