Here's the full set from Tim + YH's wedding two weeks ago. Back in
April, we did a short engagement session at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens
which you can see here.
We were able to go to Edgewater, NJ and take a few skyline pictures of
NYC. I think the highlight of this wedding was at the reception when
the Manhattan Swing Orchestra
performed. They were seriously able to get everyone onto the dance
floor with their beats. I'm not much of a dancer, but they even had me
having my head bobbing.
I want to give a big shoutout to Paul Kim who was my second shooter for this wedding. He was able to drive all the way from DC to join us in this wonderful wedding. Check out his nifty Nikon D3s in action here!
A few people have asked in the past few weeks if I ever get sick of shooting weddings. The answer is that every wedding is different. There are so many different moments to capture throughout the day. The tears, laughter, and even the mistakes. These are just a few things that make weddings memorable. It's not much about the what kind of food you ate, the flowers, or what you wore because these things will fade and the only thing you will see 20, 30, 40 years later in your wedding album are the moments captured. That is why I never get sick of what I do. I love capturing moments.
Now I introduce you to Young-hae and Tim:

To be honest, I had a hard time to choose which images to post from
this wedding. There were so many great shots from this wedding since we
did an engagement session and wedding back to back. The first day we
went to Museum Campus and Millenium Park early in the morning (to beat the crowds). The next day we took a few shots at Chicago Botanic Garden
for some portraits. It was good to see a lot of CFC friends who I
haven't seen for awhile. If I were to have two homes, I would live in
Chicago during the summer time and then live in California or the east
coast for the rest of the year. Here are some of my favorites from my
weekend in Chicago.

I normally don't put group portraits up, but these were some hilarious ones from the day.

Lastly, my favorite group shot.

A week after Hawaii, I was able to travel to San Antonio to capture
this wedding. This was my first time in San Antonio, and I was shocked
when my car read that it was 108 degrees outside. The wedding was held
at Cornerstone Church
which has a small beautiful garden that we took a few images. Some
things I learned while I was in San Antonio are: 1. You will need a GPS
because the freeways have a million different lanes and everything is
under construction, 2. There are more Whataburger Restaurants than there are to McDonalds. 3. Rudy's BBQ
has the best beef brisket ever. 4. Everything really is bigger in
Texas. I'm glad I could make it out there to be part of your special
day!
